Public Profiles

Every reviewer has a public profile showing:

  • Name and avatar
  • Total validated feedbacks
  • Leaderboard score
  • Contribution history
  • Products they've reviewed

Makers can visit your profile to see your track record. A strong profile makes your feedback more valuable.

Competing on the Leaderboard

For Makers

  1. Publish a product — Get on the leaderboard
  2. Engage with reviewers — Respond to feedback, validate useful reviews
  3. Publish updates — Show that you're active
  4. Review other products — Build reputation and get better feedback in return

For Reviewers

  1. Leave high-quality feedback — Specific, actionable, detailed
  2. Review consistently — Review multiple products throughout the week
  3. Focus on validation — Aim for feedback that makers will validate
  4. Build your reputation — A strong profile attracts makers

Leaderboard Tips

For Makers

  • Respond quickly — When reviewers leave feedback, acknowledge it
  • Validate useful feedback — Show reviewers their input matters
  • Publish during sprints — New products get more visibility
  • Engage with the community — Review other products, leave feedback

For Reviewers

  • Be specific — Vague feedback won't get validated
  • Test thoroughly — Makers value feedback from people who actually used the product
  • Be constructive — Criticism is fine, but make it actionable
  • Review early in the sprint — More time for makers to validate

Leaderboard Integrity

Feedbackfirst monitors leaderboards for abuse:

  • Fake feedback — Feedback that's not genuine is removed
  • Spam — Repetitive, low-quality feedback is removed
  • Manipulation — Coordinated attempts to game the leaderboard are penalized

Violations may result in:

  • Feedback removal
  • Account suspension
  • Leaderboard ban
